If McCulloch starts, it's Smith's team.

 

I wouldn't necessarily agree with you there. After all, McCoist hasn't taken charge in an OF game yet.

 

It's a tough call whether we should play a 4-5-1 or not. As far as the OF game results have gone this season, it looks (at least on paper) to be a safer bet. I can't help but feel though that the team would be more likely to get the win with another (better) player given the nod ahead of McCulloch who, let's face it, is going to be starting in a 4-5-1. That's unless we do the unthinkable and play to the strengths of the 4-5-1 system with Davis, Mendes, and Ferguson in the middle and two from Fleck, Novo, Naismith, Aaron and Beasley out wide.
