Seldom has there been such a contrast.

First half - no movement, didn't really look like a team on a mission once the game settled down, nothing at all on the RHS. Wrooooong team in my opinion, as I said on another thread. The dogs in the street know that we needed an up and at 'em kind of night, where our forwards stretched the game deep and wide with their movement. In the absence of Miller, then Lafferty or Novo were the options.

Second half - played like we had to win the match to win the league. Unrealistic to play like that in the F/H, as we had probably too many forwards on to start any away match in that way, and the holes at the back were massive (if it wasn't for Hibs sitting so deep, we would never have gotten away with that for 90 minutes). Wee Nacho had a nightmare first 15 minutes so it was great to see him get the goal, but again, AGAIN..... too little too late.

The ball was almost certainly over the line, so justice was done when we got a well-deserved goal.

Let's hope we haven't blown it. It's not over yet in my opinion.

Fine summation mate.

As I said in another thread, I actually can't wait for Saturday. 4-3-3 at Ibrox against the sheep needing at least 3 goals.

Bring it on!

Cheers mate, Saturday is going to be mental. A good start and it could be better than last weekend.

Absolutely! A different team altogether in the 2nd half and they came out with the urgency that should be shown in every game.

Hibs were hanging on by the thread and it was down to pure unluck we didnt score more.

If we play for 90 mins against Aberdeen like we did in the 2nd half, 4-3-3 with a full Ibrox behind the team I can see at least 3-0.

Id start with Miller, Lafferty and Novo upfront. That will cause the sheep defence all sorts of problems.

I wont have any enthusiasm for this league unless we take at least 6 off the sheep.

If we need a boat-load of goals Boyd MUST start.

Miller is hardly composed. Novo is hardly composed. Lafferty does look like a player though.

Boyd and Lafferty a hat trick each. Alexander for clean sheet. That's what we need imo. :rfc:

Aye, how come we never played like that in the 1st half, we could've had the game tied up earlier, no not Rangers, let's go 1-0 down and give ourselves 45 mins to try and rescue our season.
