Whosthedado 1,522 Posted August 2, 2009 Share Posted August 2, 2009 We were outclassed a little bit but at 2-0 at the start of the2nd half we probably should have taken one of our chances and at 2-1, with all the subs being made you never know what could've happened. On another note what did slightly annoy me was the fact we only made 3 subs. Why not make the 6 that we are allowed. Mendes Boogie and Weir all played the full 90 minutes on both days. Mendes looked shattered by the end. We can't expect Weir to play every minute of pre season and then 50 odd games in a season - same goes for Boogie and then you look and see we basically have NO COVER. So surely therefore take one of them off and rest them Walter????? Got to agree. Not so bad at all. If Davis or Naisy had brought the scoreline back to 2-1 when we caught them on the break we could maybe have snuck a 2-2 draw, but when they got the 3rd it just killed us off. Thought Beasely was pretty dire & I wasn't impressed by McCulloch. Miller made an impact, then went missing. He should have got his shot on target from the distance he struck from as well. All the defenders made some bad mistakes & gave away the ball too often, but so did the midfield. Bougie at least showed his quality at playing out of defense a few times.
