The 32-year-old was not even in the 18-man squad at the weekend following his refusal to shake Phil Brown's hand when substituted early in the 5-1 defeat to Spurs last week. It is understood City are ready to listen to offers for Cousin and would not stand in the way of him leaving before the end of the transfer window. Asked if Cousin remained in his plans, Brown said: "That's up to him. He refused to shake my hand on Wednesday but that's his prerogative.
