The winners of the SPL have to qualify albeit an easier route as the SPL winners will play champions from Bulgaria, Hungary and likes. Although recent European performances mean that will be a struggle. I'll be supporting Motherwell and Hibs now as well as us because we need all the help we can get. While I have no fears of us not winning the SPL every season, I don't want to have to pre-qualify for Europe each year.
