With just over 48 hours to go until the big game, it's clear there are a variety of options for the manager in terms of his formation and personnel...

 

So should he go with a 4-4-2, a 4-5-1 or the successful Euro strategy of 5 at the back....?

 

Or are you a Craig Levein fan and think a 4-6-0 is the way to go?

I'll go for the 5-4-1 formation

5-4-1 for me. I know it will be classed as negative but it worked against Valencia with lots of chances created and we stagnate the unclassy strikers they have.

If Jelavic was fit then 4-4-2 is a no brainer.

 

Id still like to see a 4-4-2 but Id like Weiss in there some how so maybe the 4-5-1 is the better option.

Miller, Lafferty and Naismith with his intelligent runs inside, up against Loovens and the Swedish meatball from the start? Yes please Rangers. Weiss waiting in the wings as well.

 

Looking at all of those teams in the OP, there's no doubt we have the players to stick a couple of goals away.

I'd keep the successful 5-4-1, we have the opportunity to change to 4-4-2 if we need to

Having watched them for the first time last Sunday and then our performance on Wednesday, I'm 5-4-1 all the way. They're moving the ball quickly going forward, the 3 centre halves would help snuff that out and if we can counter like we did the other night, but this time take our chances, I can see us getting a very positive result.
