Molde - A Must Win Game

Recommended Posts

Even this early in his Rangers career, PLG must realise that tomorrows game is a 'MUST WIN'. Defeat and elimination from the UEFA Cup is unthinkable and IMO, will be unacceptable to the majority of the Rangers support, both on footballing and financial terms.

We are lagging on the SPL and it'll take a remarkable turnaround to see is crowned SPL Champions in May. Also, with Craptic being Scotland's sole representitives in the CL, they are on course to pocket at least £10M from the group stages alone. Meanwhile, we face a 'one-off' game to ensure as little as £3-4M from the UEFA Cup group stages.

With injuries and 'cup-tied' players, a victory tomorrow isn't a formality and I hope that we (the fans) can emulate Pompy and CSKA fans who have, in the last few days shown exactly how to support your team.

Hopefully the management, players and fans will be up for it tomorrow from the first to the last minute.

Well said mate, we really must play our part tonight and get behind the team for the entire match.

I really hope we can get an early goal because i know how impatient some Rangers fans are and can just imagine them getting on the teams back if we are not winning before half time and when that frustration reaches the pitch, it usually effects the teams performance, usually resulting in us pumping the ball from back to front.

Who's all injured and cup-tied for tonight?

Does anyone know roughly how many tickets we've sold for tonight?

The players also need to do there part in keeping the fans interested by putting in a solid performance tonight. I'm confident of a good result tonight but hopefully there's a good performance to boot and give the players and fans a confidence boost ahead of the sheep game on Sunday.

Who's all injured and cup-tied for tonight?

Clement - Injured

Burke - Injured

Papac - Cup Tied

As far as I know that's all. Apart from the fact they have been our best players so far this season it doesn't look like too bad a list. The worrying thing is that although the list is quite small our midfield is beginning to look a little stretched. I hope this is as bad as it gets regarding injuries but going on our previous seasons it tends to get steadily worse throughout the season.
