McCoist and Lennon shown red cards

Recommended Posts

Will be interesting to see how the Tims spin this one.

They have appealed Lennon's 6 game ban. So even if he wins and it is reduced to the original two, the SPL/SFA should be throwing the book at him again for last night. Warranted as well. Inciteful behavious and not the first time this season.

KNOB.

They've already spun it Craig. Check out some articles on Newsnow. Liewell has commented. They're trying to make out that their player and management discipline is angelic.

Disagree (to an extent). He didnt suggest Lennon was angelic but he did play down that aspect, as you would expect him to do.

He absolves the Celtic players - easy to do given they only received 3 yellow cards.. what he doesnt do is highlight that much of that is probably because of the undue pressure they put on the refs and SFA earlier in the season, to the extent that everything is going their way now.

Like or loath Celtic and Lawell..... they have been far more effective (infinitely so...) at playing the PR and pressure game than we have in the last couple of years, some would say decades...
