I think the statement from Thompson is an act of a desperate man he knows Goodwillie wants to play for Rangers and is trying to get us to make a bid. It is also known that Ally and Smith got back to business only on Monday, so no wonder we have not moved ahead on that front. As for charges, I do assume the press would have told us about it, but you do not find one single bit on info about this. Actually, I think I read earlier this week that he will be heard "later this week" in connection with the supposed assault charge, not the supposed rape thing.
