Would you be happy if we were still in admin at the start of the new season but.....

Only if they apply the rules that are in existance and have been used so far for administration periods. And that excludes the transfer embargo, of course.

BTW, Motherwell only had one 10 point deduction and were in admin for longer than a year, unless I am mistaken.

not really no, we can't afford to keep our squad together so staff cuts would be huge leaving us with not much to work with. We need some sort of action asap so we can see what we can keep staff wise.

Is that more important than keeping our history?

The history remains either way, why is up to the SPL to decide whether we keep it or not? That 140 year history has been made by one football club owned by dozens of companies along the way. One more new company makes zero difference.

I get that. We’ll need to wait and see

Also If RFC do keep their history with a newco, why are fans not right behind Miller then?

People quite rightly get worked up about the history being separated from us but it's a technicality if anything. None of the companies that have owned Rangers have gone into liquidation so it is a new "event" but it comes down to the fact that Rangers 1872 is a football club and IT carries the history. The ownership vehicle doesn't.

As I said, I can see why people get uncomfortable when talk of history comes up but short of BOTH entities ceasing to exist, our 140 year history is intact and available to be added to....

Im sure most of us would accept being in admin over the summer and into next season if it meant a workable CVA could be achieved and no liquidation was necessary. It would mean a further 10 point deduction for next season.

The transfer ban is entirely another matter and is the SFA's punishment for us "allowing" CW to do what he did to our club.

Motherwell only got 1 deduiction of 10 points despite being in admin for nearly 2 years. This is what prompted the rule to be changed to 10 points per season, as it stands now.

Agree with TB. The only way that it would be acceptable is for there to be clear progress in achieving a CVA.

Regardless of the outcome of this, we are going to be cutting costs (primarily the budget for playing staff) significantly and we are likely to lose some or most of the current first team squad.
