Ally has elevated himself from legend status to a fair few notches above that during a period of great turmoil for our club. That will never be forgotten but if this is being done for purely footballing reasons I will look at it with a balanced head. And you'd be right to. Let's examine the football reasons though. 1. We have a club changed forever. 2. We have next to no Rangers men left in the decision-making areas of the club. 3. We have a squad apparently ready to leave in droves. 4. Green talks about 19 new transfer targets. 5. We may be struggling for money. 6. Where will we be playing? 7. What will be expected of us? Lots of footballing uncertainty. I've heard plenty of stories from Murray park that Ally does rub everybody up the right way. So some might not be to bothered he's leaving.
