Scottish FA statement on SFL vote - Regan

Recommended Posts

His next statement should be about his resignation.

He's already been a catastrophic failure and Scottish football needs to get shot of this clown Regan pronto before he completely kills off our game.

Unfortunately if it's only Rangers complaining about him then it only comes across as sour grapes,it's time all the chairmen of all clubs to grow a set and say he's an incompetent arsehole, for the sake of sporting integrity

The SFL should tell Regan to go and shove his ideas of an spl 2 right up his shite pipe! End of :)

A lot of the SFL clubs want league reconstruction with bigger leagues and more even distribution of money. It's the bigger SPL clubs who don't want it because they want to maintain the status quo. They should have thought of that before voting against keeping us in the SPL. :)

“Ultimately, there must be an outcome that enables Scottish football to move on with consensus, clarity and confidence into a new era for the national game.”

So, try to force Rangers into an SPL 2.

Haw Stu', how much more clarity and concensus do you require?

Effectively, 35 clubs out of 42 voted to put Rangers into SFL3. Or, to put it another way, 35 clubs voted for you to do one.

I believe 86% of the Rangers support voted for the club to go to SFL3.

Now, the next time you are on your knees blowing Lawwell's cheese; introduce your clarity and concensus line.

let's face facts. We won't be in div3. We'll be in div1 or even SPL. If we go to div3 our game would go into meltdown. The financial implications are that many clubs will go bust or have to go part time. The game would deteriorate drastically. The SFA (even with Regan as CEO) won't allow that to happen.

But has Charles Green not called the bluff of SFA/SPL/SFL today by accepting div3? he's forced them into a corner. They need to do something and fast to save Scottish football.Green holds all the aces now.He can demand wherever we play next season(div1 or SPL) that we have no sanctions or transfer embargo. And the SPL must drop its EBT investigation by Celtic's lawyers.

If not then we really will go to div3 and the financial carnage will truly begin.

I think Regan's statement is admitting defeat but it is so wooly I can't say for sure. I think it is ludicrous that Rangers are in Div 3 but the way the situation was allowed to get out of control has led us to where we are at. Like most Rangers supporters I do not believe there was any alternative.
