Transfer thread - OFFICIAL!! David Templeton signs 4 year deal

Recommended Posts

If this comes off it would be a stunning signing. It would mean we've replaced Aluko with Templeton, Naismith with Shiels, Edu with Black, Ness with McLeod, Whittaker with Argyriou, Lafferty with Little - plus we've unearthed McKay.

Y'know - we could have a better team than a year ago. Wow.

I was thinking along similar lines. We could end up with a really good team here. The only area of the squad I'm concerned about is central defence if Boca goes out on loan. We could do with another central midfielder too, but could make do if we have to.

Hopefully there is something in the works as wouldn't make sense to let Boca leave without having a suitable replacement ready.

At CB we will have Argyriou,Cribari, Perry,Hegarty and Faure.Left back cover is more the worry.

I think Ally will be looking at Argyriou as a right back unless there's an emergency in central defence with injuries and/or suspensions, so it's really just Cribari, Perry, Hegarty and Faure which I don't think is very strong. I know what you mean about left back cover though, so that's a good point. Boca is basically our left back cover, so if he goes out on loan as rumoured, then we're definitely short in that area, especially with Broadfoot leaving.
