Running costs....

That is, BTW, why Green said this a wee while ago ...

Green also insists that those out there who cannot bring themselves to call the club Rangers should realise the error of their ways.

He said: "I think everyone knows that it's Rangers that are playing at Ibrox whether its owned by company A or company B.

"Our main rivals - or our former main rivals - across the city they have had three different companies in their lifespan.

"In fact if you look at their corporate structure now it's more complicated than Rangers' is.

"So it's not about an individual or a corporate company with a registration number. This is Rangers and will always be Rangers."

Without checking, one of their companies is 20m or so in the red, but since they have the backing of Dodgy Desmond that may be not that great a concern for them. Then again, their insistence on money from Rangers being shuttled to the SPL may tell a different story.

celtc fc rent the stadium and players from celtc plc. its a tax dodge.

Wasn't there a rumour about saying that they meddled with their crowd number to dodge some income tax (or whatever)? When I checked their HP for an exact figure (were doing some stats back then), it always displayed "TBA" or the like. The BBC regularly had straight 43,000 or somesuch, not the 50,087 they got from us.

It was an open secret that they used to underestimate their crowd to escape tax. We used to slag them about it but that was before relations between us nose dived. There is no such a thing now as friendly banter and the rivalry is very bitter. Where did things go wrong?

Methinks the camel's back broke when they essentially cheated their way to the 2008 title via O'Donnell, tour of Japan, and essentially forcing us to play a silly amount of games at the tail end of last season. After that, their constant backsnapping at the refs et al, their supports bile against us and Britain in general, their campaigns to see us punished by UEFA et al while getting the carde blanche from them and the SFA ... it is plain for anyone.

Couldn't argue with any of that. Smacks of desperation from them. Don't think the Lennon factor has helped either.
