RANGERS have completed the double signing of Francisco Sandaza and Emilson Cribari today.

Sandaza has long been linked with the club and finally put pen to paper on a three year deal today.

The Spanish striker is eligible to feature in tonight's clash with East Fife at Ibrox and is waiting to see what level of involvement Ally McCoist will give him.

Brazilian defender Emilson had trained with McCoist's squad on Monday after jetting in to Scotland at the weekend.

And the former Lazio and Udinese man has agreed a two-year deal with the 54 times Scottish champions.

We will have the first reaction from both players right here on rangers.co.uk soon.

good signings though I don't want to see little and Perry forced onto the bench.

Probably more likely one or both of Boca and Goian will leave.

Unless of course we're expecting to be back in the SPL next year.

I'd like to see some craft and guile added in midfield as we are thin on the ground in there. I don't want to come through the lower divisions nurturing a high ball game. Still delighted we are signing though. When was the last time we actually got a couple of players we said we were interested in? We were fed so much shit in transfer windows in recent times under CW.

Possibly wishful thinking but these signings are certainly SPL calibre signings. Which makes you think there may be moves afoot to "re-organise" the game.

Obviously we would want to be back there but it is tough on the SFL clubs who did actually show sporting integrity, unlike their corrupt SPL counterparts.

IF they do restructure we would possibly still be screwed as we would have the transfer ban to contend with for the 1st half of the season. That said, if we were in the SPL after just one season out it would seem like a win to many. Celtic would run away with the league for a 3rd straight year, but we are currently looking at them winning it for at least 4 straight years before we even get back to the SPL.
