RANGERRAB 3,299 Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 today we went with two 17 year olds, Ian Black & Dean Shields who plays so far forward can he really be called a midfielder ? in all honesty that midfield would struggle in any league. It was outnumbered constantly. Are there any plans to bring in more midfielders ? when McCulloch went back to midfield after Kyle came on things improved significantly. kuznetsov 0 Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 mcculloch in midfield is a big no no, despite what you thought today, it never works. he is dreadful in there and being played in there is what made him a victim of the boo boys last season. we need a creative midfielder to play next to black and we need two wide men. andy little is mediocre and mckay cannot be relied on to get us out of holes all season. we need a dead ball specialist as well, something we have needed since charlie adam was here, black nor shiels is the answer to that. shiels looked lost today, i am expecting big things from him but today he was very poor. yet again, we look very poor middle to front under ally. not just the midfield he has to sort, defence is a shambles as is our attack. very poor all over. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
