Liam McLeod's biased commentary

Recommended Posts

Edit - to be fair Nevin actually told it it like it is at the end, he was surprisingly balanced.

Spot on. Nevin was fair and honest (a rarity at the BBC these days) and he nailed it on the head when he said that every one of the youngsters that came on was better than their Motherwell opposite number. What does that say about the "quality" on offer in the SPL? Fingers crossed we get another home tie in the next round. I'd love to see SFL Rangers send Aberdeen or another SPL make-weight out on their arses.

Just got a new sig!

No surprise Pat Nevin was on the level, he seems a decent type. Plus he really knows his football.

I would prefer Even on our knees we are taller than the rest. I don't want to think about them.

" ... Waddell on the wing now, races past the fullback, a cross into the penalty area, Thornton - goal for Rangers ... "

Why yes, I remember it well. "Sound pictures" on Sportsreel on Saturday nights after the McFlannels and before the Scottish jigging, or was it the other way round?

He's a fud. The comments only help to highlight the lack of quality at the BBC these days. It's getting more and more difficult to believe thEre isn't an anti- Rangers bias at the BBC.
