Steven Davis: â??Iâ??d like to come back and play for Rangers againâ??

Clearly you had more faith in them than I did.

I probably did. They were looking at buying Rangers for as close to nothing as possible and I'm not saying they would have done a better job than Green if they had.

No need to be so defensive mate. I'm only saying that going back into administration wouldn't have been the only option.

While their exit from the wage bill was probably welcome, both were clear that they left to retain their spots in their national sides.

Unless that was a lie they agreed with Green to tell?

how many games have they played for their national sides since joining their respective clubs?

And another thread descends into its all Greens fault.

We will be told next that he wrote the statement for the 2 rats who had never heard of this new Rangers.

How anyone can try to turn the rats leaving for their own gain, into they are hero's and saved the club is frankly sickening.

actually they were the heros that saved the club who people turned into rats for doing what was best for them after saving it.

bocca at least was very clear it was in the clubs interest he go.

And his own:

Despite playing seven games with Rangers in the third division this summer after the club was relegated amidst financial turmoil, a move for Bocanegra was inevitable. The 33-year-old understands that he needs to play at a more competitive level to make Jurgen Klinsmann's squad for the 2014 World Cup.

"I want to try to continue with this [u.S.] team and hopefully this move will give me an opportunity to fight for my spot here at the national team," he said. "That definitely was on the back of my mind.

"I think if the national team picture wasn't involved, then I would have stayed at Rangers because I was captain of the club and it was an awesome setup for me. It was a great situation, but unfortunately they're in the lower divisions, but that's temporary."
