Sandaza suspended - from the official website

Recommended Posts

I have a wee bit of sympathy for Sandaza but he crossed the line when he talked about his contract and the potential for negotiating a deal behind the club's back on a telephone call with somebody he had never heard of or met.

John Daly now looks a better bet.

Yeah that was bloody daft but I bet that is just the norm in football.

I bloody hope we don't sign Daly either.....just shows Ally would have learned nothing from this year.

This is NOT how we should be doing things at Rangers.

Sandaza said nothing particularly controversial or damaging to the club. He was offered an increase in salary and the chance to live in the US instead of playing 3rd division football in Scotland.

He bit. So what? His problem is not that he's disloyal, it's that he seems to be quite a stupid person.

The worst thing about it is that Desperate Tommy, the mentally ill, slimeball Tim, will be the toast of all his sleekit pals for years to come.

He's actually done us a favour if it gets a ridiculous wage off our hands.

Players shouldn't be discussing their confidential contractual details with anyone behind the clubs back. It means nothing to most of us, but at the end of the day it is a breach of SFA and club regulations.

Let Tommy and his pals give themselves a pat on the back. They've maybe done us a favour.

Don't feel sorry for him at all.

He was in breach of contract by discussing anything like he did. Rangers pay him a lot of money to do his job!

I would however ask how "Tommy" seems to be able to keep getting a hold of these numbers for people associated with Rangers.......

Which is exactly what?

That playing with a striker to lump the ball up to doesnt work. Kyle and Sandaza were both hopeless so why do we think it will all of a sudden be succesfull with Daly?

I want Rangers to try better than that...get the ball on the deck and play fitba like a top side versus lower division team and not like a top side playing like a lower division team.

It appears Sandaza is guilty of embarrassing Mr Green.

How many similar contracts has Green sanctioned?

Ridiculous contracts for journeymen took us to the brink this is beginning to look like deja vu.

How about playing to strikers up front like a tall chap (e.g. Hateley) feeding a smaller and more predatory one (e.g. McCoist)? The point Kyle and Sandaza looked "hopeless" was that they usually had no partner up front they could work with. And obviously we want a good game on the deck as well, better would be something dynamic that can use both varieties as appropriate.
