Cup games have been a problem since he was "manager" for them under Walter Smith - so many narrow victories, replays, extra-time or penalties outcomes. That Rangers come into the second match of any consequence this season and lose out in extra time to this opposition is really not good enough. The players selected today should be good enough to win that match with something to spare - if they are not then the manager & coaches who are preparing them need to be held as re,sponsored as the players.
