Patience may be a virtue.

Timing is everything.

Absolutely.

McColl & co will hopefully build their case steadily with increasing pace towards the AGM date.

The last week and particularly the final 2 or 3 days before the AGM will be critical.

Let us not forget that the key audience here are the other shareholders including the support. While the public relations battle is important, mobilising the supporter-shareholders and other floating voters is equally so.

Exactly and I think the news of Christian Purslow being a possible candidate for CEO has done Jim McColl's group a world of good on all fronts even although nothing is concrete yet. The timing was also complete perfection, which could just be a coincidence, but I doubt it.

With the recent events of the dysfunctional board threatening legal action against fans and forums, people who were previously unsure about the swell of opinion against the boardroom have started to think again and some who were completely against it have also started thinking "wait a minute", so the penny is starting to drop for doubters and supporters of the current board.

The only remaining retorts with any semblance of credibility are "so who are being proposed as an alternative to the current board?" and that we should just hold off and "wait for the accounts". McColl's group are clearly well on top of proposing the alternatives by the look of things and the accounts will probably just be confusing and create more questions than answers.

And they'll be at least 4 and possibly almost 6 months out of date, depending on the cut off date (not sure if it will be the usual 30th June).

It was supposed to be a November cut off date due to the RIFC PLC formation date, but was very recently brought forward/changed to June, so there will be a blank/black hole of almost 4 months.
