Best visiting team you have seen at Ibrox

The Valencia team that had the likes of Abelda,Lopez, Gonzalez and Mendieta were truely frightening.

I don't think I've ever seen a faster team.

Watching Bayern and Arsenal this week play some top football got me thinking who is the best side I have seen AT a game.

Obviously we've all seen the best sides on TV but who were the best at an actual match.

I think the best side I can recall was Valencia in 1999-2000 at Ibrox. That era we played Parma, Bayern and PSV off the park at Ibrox but Valencia was a different class. They went onto the CL final that season and the following year plus won La Liga.

yeah totally agree with that. was at both legs against valencia and they were a class above the rest. atmosphere in the parma 2 0 game was right up there with the best. humbled bayern home and away too.

Juventus when they gubbed us 4-0 (Nov' 95) with Del Piero, Toricelli, Ravanelli, Vialli, Sergio Porrini (too many names to mention). They destroyed us and we were no slouches then.

We were awful in any European game for 2 seasons (95-97) when we shouldn't have been. Walter played 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 in these games with Craig Moore in midfield.
