It was King himself who claimed there was a mountain of email correspondence going back and forth between him and Craig Whyte which King could put forward as part of proving that he was indeed "fit and proper", just seems bizarre that none of it has come to light given how trivial and peripheral much of the releases have been.

It maybe is quite bizarre, especially given that most people probably wouldn't consider using a mountain of email correspondence with Craig Whyte to prove their ""fit and proper person" status. That said, given that Whyte systematically dismantled the board of directors leaving King as the only remaining director it's no surprise there would have been a lot of email correspondence between them, since King will have wanted regular updates.

Interesting to note King's various predictions too. Amongst other things, he predicted the administration event, predicted that liquidation was inevitable and predicted that Green's time at Ibrox would be short lived. Then again, Dave King wasn't the only one predicting those things, so his predictions don't really tell us much other than he's often correct on the big calls. You can be sure he also predicted that MMG stock would be worth a lot more after agreeing the settlement with SARS.

It was an agreed settlement. The whole judge and verdict thing is essentially a face saver for SARS who settled for 30% of what they were demanding.

It was actually just over 20% because they wanted R3.2 billion and ended up settling for R700 million.

The worry for me with King is who comes after him, are we up for sale again?

He's no spring chicken.

So I'm gonna take it one day at a time, one day at a

time

Lets worry about the coming years and not 2025
