What makes you say that mate? Ally has McCulloch, Mohsni, Cribari, Perry, Hegarty and Faure all ahead of him. Luca is way down the pecking order.

It's unrealistic to expect Luca to get a chance. Ally has signed too many people to play ahead of him, on much more money too.

Let's not also forget, it's a Canada squad he has been picked for, not the USA, Brazil or Spain, Canada.

I've seen him play and from what I hear about him he's got a really good attitude and trains hard. I know that goes for nothing if you don't have the skill or talent to match but Canada are giving him a cap to keep him as a player before they lose him to Scotland or wherever else he ends up playing. They must think highly enough of him to bring him to a camp and to be fair Canada would probably beat Scotland just now.

You nailed it when you said about players ahead of him being signed and on good money...says it all for me. A wee bit of trust might have paid off and now we'd have a good young centre half with a season and a half of experience under his belt.

Cribari's contract runs out this summer.

I can't see a particularly promising future for Perry.

Jig can't play forever.

There's 3 from the 6 with "limited" futures....there is space to keep Luca & for him to get a regular game.
