Mike Ashley set to bid for Rangers (and NUFC ban Daily Telegraph for story)

All I see is the S.P.I.V.S doing financial damage to the club.

My decision not to renew was my choice and not influenced by any supporters, I wouldn't be so disrespectful to fans to throw an accusation like that at them,it's all about choices.

Who in their right mind would invest in a club just to line the pockets of the S.P.I.V.S.?

What financial damage? Please elaborate

You know what I'm getting at. These people in our support will only accept certain individuals on the board or as owners but there is no chance of this happening so they continue to encourage damaging boycotts and the like. What they must begin to realise is the damage that could now cause. We are heading for a very dark place indeed unless something transpires very soon.

I do know what you were getting at, but I don't agree with you.

If you want to continue to blame some of our fans for the total and utter mess our Club is in then I think you're either completely missing the point or you're deliberately missing the point in order to deflect away from the real issues & problems.

Maybe it's time to get a grip of yourself and acknowledge that our Club is in a financial mess again because of con men, opportunists and severe corporate and boardroom mismanagement over the past 2 to 3 years since Green first strolled into Govan with his dog & pony show, big mouth and big money-grabbing hands.

FWIW I'm no great admirer of the board but until something better comes along we have no choice. Its not a situation I'm happy with either but whilst there are individuals and organisations trying to inflict financial damage that will reduce the likelihood of getting a new owner or much needed investment

They seem to have absolutely no idea how to run a business, when they took us over we were losing a million a month almost 3 years later we're still almost losing that much.

The board should have drastically reduced spending even if that meant it took us 5 years to get back to where we were, the ipo shouldn't have went out to this year at the earlier instead they have lined their own pockets allowed our manager to spend spend spend and done nothing but lie to us. Thats why fans want them out

FWIW two years ago I was opposed to us going to the bottom tier because I didn't think it was affordable for us to go up the divisions the way we intended doing so. We needed experienced proven players to do so in the shortest possible timescale and that has so far worked albeit at considerable cost. Playing a bunch of kids paid peanuts would have been risky with no guarantee of being successful. That is mainly why we've been losing so much money. We need to get back to the top division and back into Europe ASAP.
