Sandy and James Easdale increase Rangers shareholding by £500,000

 

If true, then it's 2.5 million shares which is a hell of a lot more than their basic entitlement, as I think between the two of them they were only entitled to about half of that as their basic subscription.

That's what I thought immediately myself. Hard to believe the £500k figure is just a coincidence.

 

Not clear whether or not this includes their entitlement but I think they would have had to subscribe for their maximum entitlement in hard cash before they could take up any extra shares that were not subscribed for.

 

Regardless of views on the personalities involved, exchanging short term debt for equity is about as good as it gets for us at the moment.
