Green loses bid to have legal costs paid by club - appeal set for 29th January

The idea that a clause covering you for legal costs in cases related to your duty as an exec of the club should extend criminal prosecutions for ripping the club off is so outrageous I'm amazed it got as far as it did. In some ways, you've got to admire his chutzpah for trying it on but that was not something Chuckles is short of.

I'd imagine MASH will find it within itself to cough up for the his costs. Can't imagine why that fat prick would want to do that, mind you :hm:

Edit. I've just found this emoticon and now seems like an appropriate time to use it. Mike Ashley and Charles Green, you're a pair of :wanker:

I suspect that some within SD are terrified at what might be uncovered should the criminal trial go the way we want it to. At the very least it will call into question every deal put together by Green.

This is why we are seeing Ashley's onslaught of legal actions, he wants his position secured before the trial.

That is rather what I was alluding to. Virtual sarcasm is evidently something I've yet to master.

Yes, the so called public 'spat' has much more involved than the media talk about and can be summed up as your quote above.....

Absolutely. If some serious stuff ends up being uncovered then I reckon it will spur on the English FA to look into his dodgy dealings down at Newcastle. The whole thing could (and i stress could) unravel.
