he SPFL today confirmed the 2016 Petrofac Training Cup Final between Rangers and Peterhead will be played at Hampden Park.

In what will be the Light Blues’ second appearance in the final of the Challenge Cup, the match will be played on Sunday, April 10 with a 3pm kick-off, with BBC Alba set to broadcast live from the national stadium.

Rangers have been allocated an initial 25,000 tickets, with more available if demand for that allocation is met.

Ticket information for the final in Mount Florida will be confirmed in due course in the New Year.

Rangers, of course, have already played Peterhead this season, with Mark Warburton’s side running out winners by 3-0 in the League Cup back in August.
