John McGinn's red card has been downgraded to yellow. He can play against Queen of the South on Sat and against Rangers on Monday 28th

Strange decision but the day we are worried about John McGinn will be a sad one.

That's true - I am, though, worrying about how decisions will affect future title bids. It's quite clear that everyone in power never wants us to be at the top again. They might want us there for TV and sponsorship deals and they surely want us there to kick about and persecute further but they won't want us to have any chance of actually winning.

They might want us three for TV and sponsorship deals and they surely want us there to kick about and persecute further but they won't want us to have any chance of actually winning.

Good stuff cos we don't want any excuses when we pump them Steve..

But we are currently at the same level & shopping for players in the same places as Hibz and others.

Unless we are to get some serious money in & spend it on better calibre players than we've currently got.

Rest assured, had it been a Rangers player, he would not have played. The ref must feel rather bemused, not to mention the player who's ankle might have been wrecked. It was a straight red card offence, no matter you want to paint it.

It obviously hands any other tough-tackler an incentive to do the same.

Giantchelsea on FF summed it up well

"It's a work in progress being done with one hand tied behind our back, it's important that everyone realises that."

Some don't want to see it or even consider it.

I posted this earlier in the football thread as I didn't think it was Rangers news!.

It was a straight red for my money and the appeal should have failed, however it doesn't have any bearing on our match with them,IMO.
