Hibs' McGinn's red card downgraded to yellow - a taster for next year's decisions

Recommended Posts

Incredible this has been overturned.

I assume the referee must have had input?

I doubt it I think it is an independent decision by an SFA panel. Is it not a 3 man panel or am I totally wrong. Was that not the panel Ally got into trouble for naming them?

As I said, it also tells a lot about Stubbs' and Hibs' mindset that they even appealed the red card.

They were clutching at straws and considered 1,000 pounds worth a punt because of the importance of the game at Ibrox, simples.
