Winning next three games is what I am looking for and if we do clinching championship, winning Petrofac then another cup final to look forward too would be Blue Heaven, rest of games would not then matter result wise.

To be honest I think we also have to give Raith Rovers and their manager credit as well. They really came at us with a vengeance. They did the same in the second-half at Ibrox if I remember rightly and gave us a fright there as well

You can give Raith (and QotS & Falkirk too) all the credit in the world for not giving up and forcing us backwards in the final quarter of the match, but they dont get the chance to do that if we play properly, dont lose focus, and make the right changes during the game.

 

It is our sloppy play and shambolic defending that opens the door a little bit to give these sides confidence to go for it. We are getting into a worrying habit of only turning up for a section of the game. In the first 25 minutes of the game we must have had 75% possession but we did not have one shot at goal on a very bumpy surface. Raith on the other hand had a shoot on sight policy which got them two goals we would never have scored because we pass the ball from those positions. It is either that or they identified that our keeper is not as good at long distance shots as some would have us believe.

 

As has been said before, had we lost the SC tie to Dundee (or Killie), I would not really care a jot about our sloppy play in the last few games as the priority has been achieved in good time. However the SF against the bheasts is a massive game (unlike last year when everyone knew it was about not getting a drubbing) that we should have a chance of winning, and just as we should be seeing our team bursting a gut to get into that SF team, it looks like they are nervous of the match already, despite the protestations about one game at a time.

 

Still, two good victories in the coming week with two clean sheets will see the Raith shambles forgotten about and confidence soaring again - oh how fickle we football fans are!

It's been said, but i'll repeat it, Zelalem has the shot of a big lassie, no power what so ever behind it. Also when he gets in front of goal and a shot beckons, he goes to mush, it's frustrating as feck, cause he has a great touch and pass. However he needs more in the locker if he want's in the Arsenal team.

I said during the match I don't rate Fotherinham very highly. I think he should have stopped the first 2 goals. He is weak with high balls and not a great shot stopper. In his favour is his football skills
