Due to being cup-tied never really got a decent run of games - his pace and skill will be an asset in this league

I was going to say this as well...he had to sit out a lot because of our unexpected cup run. Glad he's here for next season.

Tad harsh to write him off when he has hardly played!,he will be given every opportunity under MW to improve, quite right to

In the right system/side he is a good player. Good technically, pace and direct running. As I said in my earlier post, plays best when running over the shoulder of high line defences onto through balls. We dont play that way and we want to play him as a winger/wide forward where there is not enough space and defences are packed and all behind the ball.

Its just not the right fit. Square peg into a round hole.

With respect I'm sure MW knew what kind of player he was signing and how he will utilise him,I just think we should wait and see how every player settles in before judging,of course we are all entitled to our opinions!

At the moment, I tend to agree with Tannochsidebear that at this time, he appears to be a square peg in a round hole, however perhaps he is MW's 'plan B'? It has to be accepted that 'plan A' will not always work for us, and we do need to have alternatives. A long ball over the top for a pacy striker to run onto (ala Drinkwater/Vardy) would be foreign to our normal way of playing, but if things are not going well, then we do have an option. At best though, that would mean that he would have to fulfil the 'super-sub' role.
