Arrests made over alleged sectarian singing at Kilmarnock v Rangers game

Recommended Posts

In my view the state shouldn't fund schools that promote any religious sect.

If they want to pay for that themselves, then let them get on with it.

But both the curriculum and the teaching must be regularly inspected,

Fair enough,do you think a FOOTBALL club should be driving this view forward?

The state should not fund faith schools.

If the churches want faith schools let me pay for it themselves.

Probablynot but the consequences of our state-funded apartheid schooling system has an advse effect on us all at some point in our lives

Fair enough again, but so does the price of energy-----------do you want the club to get involved in that as well.

WE WANT CHEAPER GAS----- so says Rangers football club!!!

When they are asking us to tackle something they are causing. Of course we should.

LOL,so its the governments fault (and all previous ones)to blame for our offensive(debatable)songs.?

Thats very refreshing to know. Here was me thinking it was our young team being wee contrary shites.(at away grounds).

You know, the more they tell us to stop ,the more were gonna do it.

The debate is correct in many ways but in my view wars and divides are the result of religion and politics. How it can be rectified seems impossible as it has been going on for centuries.

In our little island nation, with it's four kingdoms the simple solution is to send kids to their nearest school and have no religious teachings and leave that to parents and churches.

Regarding politics there is no solution it is just jobs for the boys and girls to fleece the tax paying public.
