Hanging Effigies and Sectarian Banners

Recommended Posts

Will this even be mentioned in the media today? Will the police act on these?

On the week that Kris Boyd's brother takes his own life these scum do this.

No mention of the sectarian banners at all.

It really is becoming more and more toxic.

Interesting to see broken toilets mentioned in our favourite tabloids but no pictures of effigies and also to note that although only one arrest made during gambut to expect others from supervisory photos.

No doubt these will come from only one area if this is to happen.

OUTRAGED Celtic fans have blasted fellow supporters after sex dolls with Rangers scarves were seen hanging from the stands at yesterday’s Old Firm clash.

Photos of the dolls with their hands tied behind their backs appeared on social media following the match – which the Hoops won 5-1.

The snaps also sparked dismay as yesterday was World Suicide Prevention Day.

One, known as Connor, said: “Shameful. Always a minority that take it too far.”

The Game added: "The Celtic fans that thought the 'hanging dolls' wi scarfs on was a good idea really need to take a right good look in the mirror. #Disgusting."

And Becky added: "I think 90 per cent of Celtic fans are disgraced at those who put up the hanging dolls. Too far and tbh unnecessary. Let the football do the talking."

Some Rangers fans were furious that the dolls display came just days after Rangers legend Kris Boyd's brother Scott took his own life.

But today Celtic insiders insisted it had absolutely nothing to do with that.

Police said they had not received any complaints surrounding the dolls.

However, a spokeswoman said: “Officers are continuing to monitor social media posts and may take action if criminality is established.”

No one has made a complaint. Really? Glad it is getting highlighted. Now for the sectarian banners. Imagine the furore if there had been a banner with "f*nian scum" on it.

As I said in an earlier post Plod Scotland turn a blind eye to most things going on in and around the San Giro on matchdays

Celtic Park will continue to have sectarian banners and hanging effigies of Rangers fans until Rangers FC defend their supporters.

What does he want Rangers to do ?

This is for Plod Scotland & the SFA to do something about. They don't seem willing to do anything do they?
