In Defense Of Joey Barton

Recommended Posts

Think most folk are saying he should have waited until Monday and hat his chat with the manager. That isn't bad advice. He's now gone out on a limb and probably made things worse for himself and the club. I'm pretty sure the club only have one decision to make now and that is joeys fault from start to finish.

I just wish all the players got their finger out!,it's ok blaming this and that but it's time they all stood up to the challenge of playing for Rangers and get this season started!,IMO only Tav,Wes & Miller have been playing reasonably well, they are all letting themselves, the manager and the fans down,no more excuses!.

when i seen barton take the freekicks instead of tavernier it gave me pause. You get these guys who come in and think they are better than everyone and make it known. It never ends well

that situation is par for the course in any walk of life

its how the present incumbents react to it.

stay quiet and it just gets worse and worse

I think we need to put this Barton issue to bed and focus on the 3 points today. Its an absolute must or the gaffer will be under a lot of pressure. I hope we come out the traps, get an early goal and put on a decent display though id take a last minute goal and the three points right now. MW isn't going to do a lot of talking about JB today, he'll be asked questions but it'll be dealt with on Monday. Hopefully the rest of the boys get themselves fired up for a must win game
