the gunslinger 3,366
Whether that comment was directed at me or dB it is complete and utter nonsense. You have absolutely no evidence for that at all. In my case, I have made the point that King hasn't invested what he implied he was going to invest, he has been disingenuous in referring to share purchases as "investment in the Club" which it is not and I very much doubt that he ever will invest the £30 million that he said he would invest (and yes I agree not all at once) AND I think he is making a big mistake saying that more will be invested ONCE we qualify for Europe; because IF we qualify then we will be playing next mid July, so how and when are we goiung to acquire and bed in the new players required? AND I've suggested in a light hearted way that there might be a greater possibility of getting £30/£50 million from Rd Bull than DK; something with which I would suggest to you many fans might find themselves in agreement. Which part of any of that suggests that I haven't "got over king ousting leach and lambias" or that dB suggested that by disagreeing with SBS comment? I'm sure dB will also enlighten you if he feels the need. You might be fooling yourself but not me.

the gunslinger 3,366
Out of curiosity is Dave King an oldco shareholder? One of the biggest. Outside Whyte of course. Edited December 3, 2016 by the gunslinger
BrahimHemdani 1
You might be fooling yourself but not me. Give it up GS, it's not funny any more. As Calscot said the other night, your one liners don't prove anything. Edited December 3, 2016 by BrahimHemdani

der Berliner 4,284
If you don't want challenged cut out the passive aggressive posts. I will most certainly challenge them at every turn. You do present a rather peculiar way to look at this whole thing and how people responded to it here. Which is your privilege of course. But perhaps it would be good to stop saying what people meant and were thinking when posting their opinions? Just saying. BH just like me explained our standpoint (at that time) quite a few times, only for people chosing to ignore that and go back to the good old up-and-up-them-bash old days.

There's nothing indirect about my position on Mr King; I've made that perfectly clear time after time and set it out for you again at #60. However, you stated that my position on King shows that I am upset at him ousting Llambias and Leach, it shows nothing of the sort; and you know you can't justify that comment so you try to cover your tracks with further unjustified insinuations. I suggest you stand outside Ibrox today and ask a random sample of fans whether they think it is more likely that Red Bull or Dave King will invest £30 million in Rangers; I'm not being passive-aggressive as you put it; it's a serious if light-hearted question. I'll be glad to lend you the official Gersnet blue clipboard for that purpose. Meantime, I need to press on; so I'll leave you to your script. To be fair to GS, you were backing Llambias and co up to and beyond DK showing up. Under those circumstances, and in the absence of a total and unconditional acknowledgement that they were robbing bastards whose presence was nothing short of a catastrophe for the club with no positives at all, sniping at King does look like hubris. I may have missed your mea culpa, of course.

I backed Llambias for the reasons I have stated many times up to the point that his involvement in the dodgy transfers became apparent.

You would need a very deep rooted resentment to answer otherwise. Edited December 3, 2016 by the gunslinger
