Kenny Miller could finish career away from Rangers

Recommended Posts

He's not playing as a striker though is he.

I think that's a fair point and given our overall lack of goals over the season so far if he were to be considered a midfielder 4 isn't such a bad return. And even at 37 I still feel he should be given another year and next season perhaps be launched from the bench for the last 30 minutes or so of matches we haven't killed off.

He's kept himself in good condition and can certainly compete for 30 minutes against tiring opposition legs.

Miller has had a good season and whilst I'd prefer to replace him asap no-one can argue about his contribution.

Yes, the flaws are still there (his touch on Saturday was awful and the one time he did control the ball well, he missed a sitter) but his overall game is more rounded and he links the play well in this team.

It's more likely he'll stay on as a player/coach and I'd be comfortable enough with that.

I'd like to see him get another year. I want someone to replace him regularly next season -- and this season, to be honest! -- but there is no reason why he can't be a squad player, coming on in games for 10-20 minutes or so. He's a good influence.
