Stuart McCall's best 11 he's played with. Spot the mistakes

Stuart McCall's best 11 he's played with. Except it is more a case of count the errors in the quite ridiculous article. Golden Beast?! Sterling Albion, Michael (Laudrup).....I think the Albertz goal he's describing was in another game too (but perhaps I'm confusing two free kicks/games.

Albertz - His free kick against Celtic we won 1-0. No that would be the 3-1 win when Bo Andersen scored two goals and half the squad had flu. January 1997.

That's what I thought and then wondered if I was forgetting another one

I've never heard of Peter Beagrie. Presume the Michael mistake was the editor's.

Lol, showing your age.... or maybe showing mine :D

Beagrie was a decent player though not fantastic. McCall is right though, when he delivered a cross it was usually quality.

Haha well I'm 29. I've followed English football from a very young age so surprised I don't know him. Plus, I'd have been playing Champ Man a lot then too, so should know most players.

I remember Albertz hammering a free kick against the fhilth, Jackie MacNamara leaping out of harm's way (rarely, if ever, had he been seen to move with such speed), and the ball rocketing into the net.

Damned if I can remember the game.

I'm 43 - remember Beagrie mostly in his Everton days. Decent but not spectacular. Good, solid pro
