Lionel Messi adds Moussa Dembele to Barcelona wish list as he demands FIVE new signings before penning new deal

 

Celtic hitman reportedly pinpointed by Argentinian superstar for a move to the Camp Nou as he continues talks over extending his stay with the Blaugrana.

 

Lionel Messi is reported to have told Barcelona chiefs that the capture of Celtic striker Moussa Dembele may help him commit to signing a new deal with the La Liga giants.

 

The Argentinian superstar's future at the Camp Nou remains up in the air and the news of Luis Enrique's impending departure has given the 29-year-old even more food for thought.

 

Messi remains just as important as the manager at the Camp Nou and with contract talks ongoing regarding a new deal, Spanish outlet Diario Gol, are reporting that the 29-year-old has been letting the club know his demands - with not all of them being financial.

 

Before putting pen to paper on a new contract, Messi is reported to have told club chief, Josep Maria Bartomeu, that he wants FIVE new quality additions to the Barca squad to help them regain their stranglehold over Real Madrid .

 

Messi is said to believe that Paco Alcácer is not up to the job of being an understudy for the MSN trident he plays in with Neymar and Luis Suarez and is said to have pinpointed Celtic's on-fire Frenchman Moussa Dembele as the man to take his place.

 

Dembele has been attracting attention from most of Europe's big guns with his performances for the Hoops this season, having hit 31-goals and this appears to not have gone unnoticed by the Barca ace.

 

Will the attraction of being one of Messi's most wanted be enough to lure Dembele away from Glasgow's East End and help Barca hold on to their most prized asset? Only time will tell.
