Rangers v Progrès Niederkorn - Failure is not an option

Recommended Posts

Banning someone is a moderation event. It isn't moderation by committee of the whole forum. The forum members have no reason to know how long a ban has been put in place for, other than nosiness IMHO

I disagree for the reason previously stated, :adminpower: fair enough.

Still give Tav the name of "The Wanderer",at least he is not on left wing taking corners from there.

Still think his coat is on a shoogly nail.

I can only assume that Pedro thinks his money is better spent on other areas of the team; but why Hodson isn't in there is beyond me.

All duly noted; thanks for the explanation.

I still think the length of any ban should be public knowledge.

"don't jump to conclusions." no indeed.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Thanks BH.

We will agree to disagree on the public sharing of bans implemented by moderators. These bans are virtually never implemented without the moderators first discussing.

Hodson is hopeless and shouldn't be near a Rangers first team. At least Tav is good going forward, Hodson is good at nothing.

All about opinion. You don't become a professional footballer and represent your country for "being good at nothing". Dunno where this attitude on Hodson actually comes from, given how little he has played as right back AND how often Tav has failed to be an able right back. I for one doubt that Tav will get away with his tactical indiscipline all too often this season and PC will wield the axe at some point.

I am classing him at the level he is playing at as a professional footballer. He should not be near a Rangers first team and would never have been if our circumstances were different. He doesn't get many starts for NI

He's capped and tons of Northern Irish (or eligible) footballers are not. All about opinions, which also goes for Foster, Wright, Clelland and some others. In any case, if PC keeps him, that is good enough for me.

I will see this game because it's on the 4th of July which is a national holiday here and i'm not concerned about the end result being anything other than moving on to the next round. I feel this team will improve from game to game so since the opposition don't really have anything to offer this match might even be the walkover we all expected at Ibrox.

Qualification for the group stage is obviously a major objective but even if that all fell to pieces for us the silver lining will be that we will be well prepared for the opening day of the league season. I understand there will always be doubters and understand why they have doubts. All the pieces are falling into place and the squad likely isn't even completed yet but once this team starts clicking only one will be able to face us this season on anything like a level playing field.

And yes Craig, that's a prediction. ;)3

Even if we only got second place this season we will be well clear of third and much closer to first. I'm looking for a total humiliation of the hubz in the first home league game on August 12th.

Wee reminder: the second leg on Tuesday starts 19.45 local time, which is 18.45 (6.45 pm) in the UK. The fixture list on the club's homepage make it seem that the game starts one our later than it does.

He has 20 caps for NI, don't know how many are starts.
