Forest boss Mark Warburton is in the market for a new goalkeeper as he looks to strengthen his goalkeeping options at the City Ground Forest have Jordan Smith, Stephen Henderson and Dimitar Evtimov on their goalkeeping books, but Warburton is looking to bring in a new No.1 as he looks to improve on last season when they narrowly avoided relegation. Warburton is a huge admirer of Foderingham having signed him when he was in charge of Rangers and he feels the former Crystal Palace youngster could help solve the problematic goalkeeping position at Forest. Foderingham joined Rangers in 2015 and helped the club win promotion back to the Scottish Premiership in his first season in charge. The 26-year-old has established himself as No.1 goalkeeper at Ibrox since his arrival at the club and he has impressed up in Scotland. Foderingham still has two years to run on his current deal and the player is understood to be happy with life in Glasgow. NF keeper was criticised for putting the team under pressure on Sat. the usual Warburton tactic of playing out from the back. Warburton still hopes to add one further signing before the August 31 deadline, and with one of the deals he revealed had collapsed thought to have been for Fulham’s Kevin McDonald, it’s not unreasonable to suspect he’s in the market for another midfielder.
