[FT] Ross County 1 - 3 Rangers (Morelos 31, 41; Herrera 89)

Pedro may need to change his mind then.

Kranjcar is a quality footballer, no doubt about it. But watching him yesterday he was very, very slow. As someone said, he slows the game down so much because of his lack of stamina and pace, that it allows the opposition to reset - if he isn't playing in the "hole" as the "10" then Niko has to be used as a sub - coming on when everyone else will be as tired as he is fresh.

for all the slagging he took from the commentators it was 2 or 3 slick passes from him that opened up Ross County.....when others huffed and puffed he delivered a cutting ball

The commentators over-egged it for sure. They probably spent 7 or 8 minutes talking about how Kranjcar was "towing a caravan". Funny though because the last I checked neither Butcher nor Sutton were quick players either - and Kranjcar has far more footballing ability than both of them ever had. Complete :wanker: the two of them.

That said, they were still bang on the money because, at that point in time, he really was slowed to walking pace. I agree though, earlier on it was clear that his footballing brain and 1st touch, 1st time passing were on a different level to everyone else on the pitch.

Anyone expecting Niko to fly around the pitch is in for some serious disappointment.

Which is why, if he plays, he really needs to play the "10" where others can do his running for him.
