It will have an impact on the game which means a Pittodrie away day could be enjoyable once again (i had many of them growing up). We went there last season and won 3-0 so no reason why we cant win again. It just makes the Hamilton and Dundee results all the more frustrating, 3 points from one of those would be in a much better league position. Celtic can remain undefeated but they can have all the draws in the world like Motherwell they like, 2 dropped from them is big. According to oddschecker, 1/5 with Wm.Hill...= market still uncertain ie. level/weight of current speculation would seem to correspond with bookies not taking further bets....but they haven't all closed the book. So, maybe it isn't as cut and dry as some seem to think. For this game, it's important what the Aberdeen players know/think. They've not done well since speculation started. My guess is that regardless of speculation, their pride will have been hurt. One positive stat for them is that they have won the match immediately after their last 12 defeats.......13 unlucky ? Can see the sheep being up for this one, irrespective of the McInnes speculation. I'd imagine they'll come out the traps with intent and we'll have some defending to do. Cardoso will probably step in. IMHO, no matter whether this or that player drops in or out, those on the park need to be at the same level of application as they were on Wednesday. Go for that early goal, quiten the red horde and then hit them on the counter. I'd like to see Candeias and/or Morelos from the start, but I would assume that unless enforced, Murty will go with the same people. Just noted that Willie Collum is the impartial man in the middle.
