What Is Kris Boyd’s Problem?

Recommended Posts

CHRIS SUTTON has questioned Neil McCann’s reasons for revealing Celtic’s “low” bid for Jack Hendry.

We told earlier how the Dundee gaffer had his say on the offer from the Hoops, admitting there had been no activity since.
Now the former Parkhead striker has waded into debate over Hendry’s valuation and hinted the Dens Park club would like to sell the player.

Quizzed on BT Sport by Darrell Currie, he said: “Is Neil McCann trying to punt Jack Hendry?

“Why bring that up? Why get it out in the open?

“Why would you get that out in the open if you wanted to keep him?
“Let’s get it right, Dundee are in a bit of trouble this season.

“If you are Neil McCann why would you bring that up if you want to keep the player?
“Does Neil McCann rate Jack Hendry? There is another question Darrell, what do you think?”

SunSport told at the start of the transfer window how Dundee would demand £1.5million for Hendry.
Sutton added: “I don’t think Jack Hendry at this moment in time will improve the Celtic defence.”

Last week McCann warned Celtic gaffer Brendan Rodgers to forget about landing the former Partick Thistle and Wigan man on the cheap.

The stopper has 18 months left on his current deal at Dens Park.
