they could even have filmed the louts in tartan on the hill at Cathcart road were the two tower blocks are boozing merrily in public an offence in glasgow of lifted the filthy people urinating in public

I will also add that police Scotland failed abysmally by letting in fans who were the worse of wear by being drunk .

Don't think we've got much room to point fingers.

Compare and Contrast?

We have experienced two nights of Scottish clubs participating in European competition this week. How have PQ CSC reported the attempts by Sellik, Aberdeen and, Rangers on their Scottish Football website? This webpage is important for Auntie's perspective on posterity, it is the equivalent of newspapers' cuttings libraries. In future when recalling events from a previous fixture between two clubs, this will be their first and major point of reference.

First up on Tuesday evening was ra Sellik, Martin Dowden filed several reports from the Netherlands as ra green'n'grey hooped horrors took on Feyenoord in the Champions League. We can thank Annie McGuire back in the day for informing the listenership, "both Martins, Dowden and Conaghan are really good Celtic men". Positivity is Martin's mainstay when reporting on his heroes, no mention of the club's several year long Euro difficulties. His post match report was more of the same, nine man Hoops were brave :

"In the aftermath of another Champions League defeat, it would be easy to say, 'same old Celtic'.

The result - losing 2-0 to Feyenoord in Rotterdam in their opening group game - seemed familiar at this level but, at times this display was an accomplished display by the Scottish Champions.

The script felt different though, and perhaps offers encouragement ahead for Celtic's upcoming home fixtures.

Rodgers side played well in the first half, better than on many away days, before the hammer blow of a concession deep into injury time signalled the start of the demise".

Now, Feyenoord had two goals chopped off, a penalty miss and, two goals awarded. Sellik had two players red carded. All these decisions were checked and approved by VAR. I understand PQ literally has, 'a Celtic State of Mind' two of that particular site's Podcasters are employed by the national broadcaster; however, long term employees of Auntie should be encouraged to report objectively. Adopting a more comfortable fan media stance allows Martin to crop the game to one half. Further, Feyenoord had the advantage of a greater budget.

Last evening's starter was Aberdeen in Frankfurt for the Euro-Conference League. Dandy Don fan and BBC Scotland's Digital Editor, Tyrone Smith played a Pittodrie hand, positively bullish with established PQ bon mots sprinkled around, "one of last surviving members of the team that won the Europa Cup two seasons ago is the Keeper. Of course, he broke Rangers hearts denying Ryan Kent in extra time and saving Ramsay's penalty in the shoot-out". He concluded, "Aberdeen showed mentality, desire, fight and, tactical know how in abundance against their expensively assembled German side".

Thus, two Scots sides endured battling defeats and added zero to the decreasingly important national coefficient. If Sellik had hit the post again, how much would the efficient accrue?

The Rangers - Real Betis is PQ postres on the Euro' menu. If Sellik get a good Sellik man and Aberdeen can rely upon a Dandy, Rangers receive Kerrydale Insane(Kheredine Idessane). The privately educated Kheredine focused on Michael Beale's difficulties in build up, no problems because he was writing what the majority of the Rangers support were saying. The game itself was different because his initial report after the game began, "Real Betis will absolutely feel hard done by because they had Rangers on the back foot for long periods of the game". I say initial because by this morning Kheredine's report had been disappeared.

Replaced by Scott Mullen telling us, "Sima goal gives Rangers narrow win". Kheredine's report read as if Kheredine and his PQ CSC chums felt hard done by the expensively assembled Andalusian's outfit inability to defeat a struggling Rangers. Rangers have played five Euro games this season so far, have won two, drawn two and, lost one. Rangers have and are consistently adding to the national coefficient but, no one at BBC Scotland will be allowed to mention the fact on their web page.

PQ CSC are reverting to warmer, more comfortable memories of Pedro standing in a hedge after Progres Niederkorn knocking Rangers out and when Sellik hit the post against Real Madrid.

Careful Hate.

Last Sunday Noon on Radio PQ CSC and, "Greeeeeeetings ...... " precludes another Rangers hatefest. We are not told why Tam the Token is missing, RAB Cosgrove introduces Susie McCabe and Paddy Duffy as participants in the fun. We endure fifteen minutes of the geography of Ireland. Paddy is born'n'bred in Northern Ireland but is a self confessed Borderhopper, has an Irish passport but lives in Glasgow. He works in both radio and TV  pre-production as a Writer. He is a big pub quizzer thus we receive the tour of the Emerald Isle. The merits of Leinster, Munster, Ulster and, Connaught are given in Irish pub quizzing; cue RAB and his County Mayo connections of the family farm mortgage being called in by Twinnings Tea two hundred years past.

RAB is staunch, he surpasses those Irish emigrants that accepted charity in the wake of the great famine, they are known as, 'Souptakers'. He refuses to have Twinnings Tea in the house he is NOT a, 'Teataker'. Last month in a discussion on Hearts and Hibs he was asked if he had been born in Edinburgh, who would he support? Immediately he replied, "Ah no doubt about it, Hibs. Their heritage, the socialism and, James Connolly". I wonder what James would make of RAB's international property portfolio, properties here, in Sri Lanka and, flats in London?

Susie arrives and the next quarter of an hour is all about Rangers and our defeat by Aberdeen. She listened to the match on Radio PQ and watched the highlights. She does not like Beale and is awarded an unfettered several minutes to articulate her delight whilst continually punctuating the word, "Beale". RAB and Paddy are thirty "Beale" a day men too. Interestingly, later on whilst discussing ra Sellik's management we are treated to dozens of,"Brendans, Ange and, Neils". Listening to BBC Radio PQ, you will never discover who rowed the boat ashore?

Susie is intent upon containing her glee, remember it is just, "cheeky rivalry"; she interludes with regular, "ah hiv tae live in this city" and, "that'll appear on a website" but, she is struggling. RAB offers he never liked Beale's accent and, Susie begins then strangles her cockney impression. Paddy concludes, "the situation is very funny". I hope those of us not intent upon colonising the country still hold the view that any person losing their job and immediate future is not a laughing matter?

We move on to favoured PQ Gang Huts, the Admiral Bar has been joined by the Dennistoun Indian, the Nakodar Grill. Susie cackles again, "Sunday night is the night, all the crowds in, Des McLean too". RAB tells of Des McLean's special Korma and he will be enjoying a celebratory one that evening. You realise why Tam the Token is not on, they do not want his regular appeals, "we want to hear from Rangers supporters" and, "we need a bit of balance". The Tandoori oven is on full blast and the roast of all things Rangers must go unchallenged.

Both RAB and Susie have a ton of previous, regular users of the 'H' term. On Off the Ball, RAB regularly introduced Rangers supporter, Chris Connor as, "the H-u-n with a heart" whilst being arrested by the British Transport Police at Queen Street Station for bellowing, "can you spot a handsome H-u-n"? Susie's social media is full of the term and has had to apologise on a number of occasions. She accused Murdo Fraser MSP of, "celebrating the seventeenth century" because he traveled to Seville to support Rangers in the Europa League Cup final. She was advised to consult her Solicitor but chose to apologise.

Saying sorry is the easiest word because it allows you to move across the spectrum to the position of CAREFUL HATE.

Still, last night BBC Radio PQ were strict adherents to Peter's directive. Three talking heads furra Sellik, Pat Bonner is proper Irish. Aiden Mcgeady has 78 caps for the Republic of Ireland because one grandparent, his maternal grandmother was born in Donegal  but left the county aged two. James McFadden is Scots but supports Serllik and he was only there because the other proper Irishman, Tom English remains banned from Sellik Park. As yet, Chris, Connie, Kheredine, Martin, ............. etc have not met with all the good friends of the show, Kevin, Gerry, Susie, Angela, ........ etc in the Admiral or the Nakodar to discuss this incovenient fact.

I wonder what will occur first the meet up or ra Sellik securing a Champions League group victory?

Fired up the telly a few minutes ago and what appears on the screen but one C. McLaughlin pontificating from Paris on the Rugby match tomorrow. Good to know that we’ll be getting the most informed and most professional analysis from a true rugger expert. Shows the importance of the game otherwise it would have been the other idiot Idessane.

It had to Happen(by proxy).

Six days after the Hamas raid and the Green Brigade's reaction to it, PQ has finally acknowledged it occurred by proxy. Today's third story on their Scottish football website is entitled, 'Gossip' and, it contains a sub headline -'Abada urged to quit Celtic over Palestine'. Click on it and it reads, "Celtic winger Liel Abada, who has been critical of the Celtic fans group's support for Palestine and has been offered support by the club hierarchy, has been urged to quit the Scottish champions by Israel team-mate, Dolev Haziza". Another link is provided for the Daily Record story.

This is akin to RAB Cosgrove and Tam the Token constantly saying, "we want to hear from Rangers supporters". The last thing they want is to hear from Rangers supporters but by utilising this particular refrain, they are ticking the box for balance. Similarly, a one line hidden behind a 'Gossip' link allows BBC Scotland to say they covered the story. Once again, the PQ CSC prove they know how to play the long game. Certainly, they know and value the benefits to be reaped by playing it cute, by proxy.

The Great Flag Flutter.

Twenty days after the event, BBC Scotland has decided to report on the spat between their favourite club and the soon to be latest designated separate entity, the Green Brigade. We can only assume Peter's approval was tardy?

Today, there is a report from Megan Bonar entitled, "Celtic fans to defy club over Palestinian flags". Included in the article is an Analysis piece by Chris McLaughlin. Megan's third line is convenient lie, claiming the Green Brigade have been banned from away games because of continuing flying of Palestinian flags. No, the GB caused mayhem at Fir Park by utilising forged tickets and opening safety doors to allow other like thinking non-ticket toting balaclava'd Bhoys into the away stand. This caused a running battle with Plod and Police Scotland articulated safety concerns to ra Sellik. The club had to be seen to be taking action.

Next Megan ran interference, other Scottish clubs had been fined by UEFA and she mentions both Rangers and Hearts. Peter approves of spreading blame in Sellik specific incidents. Chris makes a comfortable analysis, mentions club open to all, founded to feed the poor and, increasing sponsors' concerns. You can hear Peter spouting the same pysh. The real mirth is to be found in the last line of the report, "Celtic have been approached for comment"?

Of course, PQ have ignored the 'Pig Watch' banners displayed on the North Curve concourse. The Green Brigade photograph Police officers, then post the pictures on their website asking if any members can identify and provide further information? I suspect Peter is still thinking about that one. I am sure PQ will flag it up when Peter tells them to do so.
