Mr Smith who will be 70 on the 24th February will barely be aware of this milestone as he is suffering from dementia. Gerald King, 65, has been accused of lewd and libidinous practices towards six students while he was teaching at St Martha’s Primary School in Balarnock. 1 Former Celtic Boys Club chairman has been charged over sex abuse claims He was suspended from his job following the revelations and he was warned to stay away from the school after his arrest on February 15 last year. King appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court today to face charges spanning from August 1, 1983, to June 30, 1989, at the Glasgow school. It’s claimed King, from Springburn, is also facing a seventh charge of taking or making indecent images of children between January 1987 and December 1988.
