Financing of the Offer It is estimated that full acceptance of the Offer by RIFC Shareholders will result in a maximum cash consideration payable by Laird of £10,746,836. The cash consideration payable under the Offer will be funded using the receipt of dividends to be declared on 4 April 2018 totaling Rand 217,904,049. This amount would convert to £13,074,842.90 at the exchange rates prevailing on the date of this announcement. Popular Post ian1964 10,416 Posted March 31, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted March 31, 2018 Lifted from FF The share price is around 27p.Therefore the vast majority of shareholders will not sell at 20p.The only ones likely to are those who were effectively gifted shares by the crooks during their period of time in charge.Looking at the conditions of sale/buy It would appear that King is going to make it difficult for blue pitch/margarita to cash in by asking for details on ownership of these shares.He will not want to pay anything to the crooks that he can avoid handing over.The sleazedales unfortunately are likely to walk away with a very pretty penny.That will also apply to the fat controller and some other mates of Charlie big hands.But they will be gone for good and I suspect that it will be a case of good riddance as far as DK is concerned.It is galling that the spivs are likely to benefit from this forced offer.I was a business/finance journalist but not in Scotland for many years.However I did report on Murray and his group as he lived in a territory I covered.DK definitely will have the option of selling on any 20p shares he is forced to buy to Club 1872 should he choose to do so.However with another IPO on the way it may not be in club 1872 best interests to have extra shares right now if it is going to put the organisation under extra financial pressure to meet any liability that occurs as a result of a new issue.Sorry this is longer than I normally post but I have tried to make it as simple as possible.The really good news is that DK is expecting a £13 million dividend into a South African trust on 4 April and he is prepared to use that money to guarantee that the share sale can be covered if everybody was to participate.
