I believe there was a Divers played for them back in the 60s

Johnny Divers. Got a few goals for them. Contemporary of Stevie di Chalmers who got a few more.

Correct they were a bit like the Rangers of now struggling up front they also tried Paddy Turner whom  Jimmy McGrory had high hopes for then settled on a young Chalmers who gave them grand service.

Conway, Colrain, Brogan, Jackson - not much of a threat in those days. They should have bought the Third Lanark front five.

Well Hilley  Harley and Gray we bought one Junior McGillvary right back whom Symon never played strange signing Jimmy Mason always maintained we ruined a good player.
