Frankie 8,150 Posted July 29, 2019 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Pretty sure we played 4-2-3-1 quite a lot - certainly in Europe. I think we started with the 4-3-2-1/4-3-3 but it didn't really work as Candeias doesn't like the inside forward role so we reverted to the 4-2-3-1 to allow us to have the natural width. It wasn't until Morelos got suspended later in the season that we went back to the 4-3-2-1 which worked well with Defoe up top and Arfield & Kent in behind. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
