Maybe Goldson leaving for decent money or Helander, perhaps. Maybe Katic’s recovery is uncertain. Maybe both.

I don't think Katic is good enough. 

 

Of the six CBs we have, he's bottom of the pile, for me.

i think we have several CB better than Katic and have had over the time he has been here. He is one of those players who get's better the less he plays. 

 

Most of last season people wanted Goldson dropped for him yet when Hellander got injured and he came in he was all over the place and our results suffered. 

 

He is youngish though and a season out on loan could easily see him become a good player.

It's a nice problem to have, a wealth of quality centre backs, and not one we've had for many years.

I think Katic will remain in our plans for next season as he's the only other right-footed centre half we have now Edmundson has gone on loan.

 

The Simpson signing tells me either Balogun or Helander won't be here next season.
